WifiSocks is committed to providing reliable, high-performance software infrastructure for OpenWrt-powered gateways. This policy outlines our software maintenance, technical assistance, and digital license governance.
1.1. Digital Software Scope: WifiSocks delivers software licenses and OpenWrt packages (.ipk). We do not manufacture, assemble, sell, or physically repair router hardware devices.
1.2. Software Updates & Patches: Active digital license holders receive regular software maintenance, security patches, protocol enhancements, and bug fixes for the duration of their active license term.
2.1. User-Owned Hardware: Users are solely responsible for procuring and maintaining compliant OpenWrt hardware (e.g., AMD64 Mini PCs, ARM64 routers, or MT7621AT MIPS devices with 256MB+ RAM).
2.2. Hardware Malfunctions: Physical hardware issues, power supply failures, overheating, or component defects fall under the warranty of the original hardware manufacturer or vendor, not WifiSocks.
To verify normal software operation, policy routing, and leak protection performance, we utilize standard Layer 3/4 testing criteria:
Third-party proxy server availability, bandwidth quality, or external network latency depend on the user's chosen proxy providers (BYON model) and do not constitute software defects.
